Road ID
Har lige købt en lille ting til mig selv fra US.
Lidt reklame gejl og et link til deres side:
Hey Everyone,
I just ordered one of the best products ever. It's called a Road ID - perhaps you've heard of it. If you haven't, go to their website and check it out. Road ID is a great product that could save your life someday.
When I ordered, they gave me a coupon that I could pass along to my friends. Here's the coupon number:
Coupon Number: ThanksMartin825596
The coupon is good for $1 off any Road ID order placed by 09/19/2010. To order, simply go to RoadID.com or click the link below:

Hello Michael:
Sometimes...we're not as smart as we think we are. Now, is one of those times. Allow me to explain:
When you placed your order on 08/19/2010, we told you that your items would ship on 9/15/10 (tomorrow). Unfortunately, we're going to miss this deadline. The delay is directly related to an inventory shortage. I know what you're thinking, "Don't you guys have systems and people in place to make sure this type of thing doesn't happen?" The answer to that question is "yes." But, we screwed up anyway.
Please trust that we are working hard, and doing everything we can, to get your order out the door as soon as possible. We now expect to ship your order on (or before) 9/28 (2 weeks from today).
I know this is a much larger delay than you bargained for. I can't apologize enough.
Again, we are now quoting a 9/28 ship date...but we hope to be able to ship your order before then.
We pride ourselves on exceeding our customers' expectations. I know that we have failed in this instance. With egg on my face, I humbly apologize for the delay and hope that you can forgive us.
Oh by the way, we haven't fired our inventory manager. What we've done to him is far worse: We make him sit by himself in the break room. And, we glare at him sternly whenever he walks by.
Be safe out there; and let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers,

Hello Michael:
On September 14th I sent you an email indicating that your Road ID order had been delayed due to an inventory shortage. I was embarrassed to send you that email as I knew you were going to be disappointed. In that communication, I indicated that we would be able to ship your order on 9/28/10 (today). Now, my embarrassment has compounded...I'm actually typing this email while hiding under my desk. Despite our best efforts, we are not going to be able to ship your order today.
We have been peering out our windows all week...nervously waiting (and expecting) the truck to deliver the Wrist Band that we need to complete your order. Unfortunately, that truck hasn't pulled up to the shipping dock yet.
I won't try to pass the blame to anyone else...the dog did not eat my homework. The truth is that the blame lands squarely on our shoulders. Not only did we not properly forecast our inventory demands, we also underestimated the time it would take to replenish our depleted inventory.
I know it may not seem like it, but we are truly doing everything we can, to get your order out the door as soon as possible. It is my sincere hope that we will be able to ship your order on (or before) 10/6 (just over a week from today).
We pride ourselves on exceeding our customers' expectations. I know that we have failed in this instance. With egg on my face, I humbly apologize for the delay and hope that you can forgive us.
Many of you have enquired as to the employment status of our inventory manager. Well...we still haven't fired him. His job is secure and so is he. By secure, I mean that he's tied up in a broom closet, drinking leaky ceiling water.
Be safe out there; and let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Edward Wimmer
